Wanna spice up your chicken wing game during your BBQ party? Impress your guests with some BBQ buffalo wings. Here’s how you can go about doing it!
What You Need For 1kg BBQ Buffalo Wings
- 1 kg of Chicken Wings
- 1 tbsp of Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp of Chilli Powder
- A pinch of Salt
- A bottle of Buffalo Wings Sauce
- 2 tbsp of Unsalted Butter
What To Prepare In The Kitchen
Start by patting your chicken wings dry with kitchen towel. Then, mix baking powder, chilli powder and salt. After which, sprinkle this mixture over your wings and coat it evenly in a large bowl. Now that this is done, lay the marinated chicken wings on a rack and then leave in the fridge overnight.
At The BBQ Grill
Set up your BBQ for indirect grilling at medium heat (approximately 180 degree celcius). Once ready, place your chicken wings on the cooler section (not over direct heat) and grill it until the skins begin to brown/crisp up. This will take approximately 30 minutes. Now, microwave your butter to melt and mix in a large bowl with your hot sauce. In batches of 5-10 wings, remove your freshly grilled BBQ buffalo wings and toss in the glaze. Now place the wings back on the BBQ grill but this time flip it over the other side and place it directly atop the hot section. Flip when charred to your liking – this will only take a couple of minutes, and YOU’RE DONE!
It’s just that simple! Try that out and keep us updated on how it looks/taste!
